Being alone and in pain is dangerous. THERE'S NOTHING IN THIS WORLD MORE DAMAGING TO THE HUMAN PSYCHE THAN ISOLATION. It would conceivably be easy to escape it all. Doctors have prescribed more painkillers than I can count and I would just say thank you, smile and throw it away.
Even when I was in Hospice I stock piled the supplies of pain management they brought. Only when it was bad did I entertain them. For two days after surgery etc. I DID HOWEVER FIND RELIEF WITH medical Marijuana. But this too must be respected if your alone. This is important. Something happens to the chemicals in our brain when we're alone or more importantly feeling alone. It's just flat different. It needs to be understood. The entire universe screams connect. Yet we're heading the wrong way. Example: In 2016 the Veterans Administration wrote 6 million individual prescriptions for opioids. For ptsd. Wtf. Is it just easier to drug them then invest in them. I think we all know. They deserve better. But ptsd and isolation. Huge. Evidently your never alone with a bottle of pills. Now their stopping giving the prescriptions and guess where they'll find the replacement. Alone I'm guessing on the street. Isolation gets bigger.
